STATEMENT TAKING

Claims Support Services have assisted both the legal and insurance industries with statement drafting for in excess of 20 years.

Our statement takers each have many years' experience across a broad spectrum of claim types being either recruited from the insurance or legal professions or in house trained.

We assist with statement drafting for Personal Injury, Industrial Injury, Road Traffic Accident, Industrial Disease, Mortgage mis-selling and other financial based claims, Employer Liability and Public Liability, along with supporting evidence from Witnesses to the incident or the care provided following injury.

All statements are compliant with the Civil Procedure Rules and are delivered in draft form for approval by our instructing party.

Whilst we interview by telephone the depth of experience within our interview team engenders both understanding of key issues to be addressed and the ability to “think outside the box” often leading to additional compelling arguments, evidence or heads of claim not previously considered.

Undertaking interviews by telephone also removes logistical issues often leading to a far quicker turnaround without compromise on quality.

Claims Support Services have an in house translation and interpreting company, which trades independently as The Language Exchange Network, so issues are easily and quickly resolved in cases where English is not the first language.

LOCUS INSPECTIONS

With a network of agents across the UK we can arrange attendance at any accident location to capture images depicting both the scene and the views of each participant approaching the accident scene.

Video footage can be captured, including drive through recording to ensure there is clear understanding of what each participant faced in the moments leading up to the incident.

Locus images are accompanied by a scaled CAD plan of the scene to ensure greater understanding of the layout and dimensions of the area of interest. If costs are likely to be an issue, we can offer a desktop locus product at a reduced fee.

In addition to accident scenes we can also attend premises or sites of interest and prepare detailed plans with images, often helpful in the event of Employer liability issues or where a member of the public has come to harm.

TRACE ENQUIRIES

Our tracing service is second to none.

Once instructed to locate an individual the process will commence with desktop searching through a wide variety of sources. In a high number of cases this is sufficient to locate the target of the enquiry.

In the event our desktop service has not found the individual you seek then no charge is made. This initial review will however identify the natures of enquiries that could be made at which juncture we will report, with suggested actions and provide a quotation for this.

Our overall success rate on tracing has been maintained in excess of 90% for the last 12 years.

TRANSLATION AND INTERPRETING

Claims Support Services associated in house company, The Language Exchange Network, offers a full service for interpreting and translation serving both the legal and insurance industry with fully qualified NRPSI registered interpreters/translators.

Aside from being one of the most competitively priced companies operating in this sector there is the added advantage that those running the company are familiar with the documents to be translated and, more importantly, CPR rules and requirements.

The Language Exchange Network allows our clients to embrace the opportunities of non-English speaking clients as well as meeting the hurdles head on with minimal disruption, alteration or negation of our core services.

Our interpreters and interviewers have, through shared experience, worked towards an interview and translation process which avoids many of the potential pitfalls usually associated with interpreted interviews and translated statements.
